About the Role We are seeking a talented Web Developer with strong expertise in WordPress and hands-on experience with modern front-end and back-end technologies. The ideal candidate should be able to design, develop, maintain, and optimize websites that are secure, scalable, visually appealing, and high-performing. Key Responsibilities WordPress Development Develop fully functional websites using WordPress (themes, plugins, custom development). Customize existing themes and build custom themes from scratch. Create and modify WordPress plugins as needed. Manage CMS setup, configuration, security, and updates. Ensure websites are responsive, SEO-friendly, and optimized for speed. Front-End Development Convert UI/UX designs (Figma/Adobe XD) into responsive web pages. Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and responsive frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind). Implement animations, transitions, and interactive UI features. Back-End Development Build and integrate APIs (REST, JSON). Experience in PHP, MySQL, and server-side scripting. Troubleshoot performance and database issues. Website Maintenance & Optimization Monitor uptime, performance, security, and backups. Conduct regular website audits and fix bugs/errors. Optimize website speed using caching, CDN, and best practices. Other Responsibilities Coordinate with designers, product teams, and content teams. Manage website hosting, domains, cPanel, and server migration. Implement on-page SEO best practices. Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (preferred, not mandatory). 2–5 years of experience in WordPress development. Strong proficiency in: WordPress (themes, plugins, custom development) PHP & MySQL HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery Git / version control Experience with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Divi) is a plus. Familiarity with SEO, Google Analytics, and performance tools (Lighthouse, GTMetrix). Understanding of website security practices.
