Educational Qualification :

• Independently manage and administer IBM iSeries environments ensuring uptime, security, and performance.
• Perform OS upgrades and patch management across production and non-production environments.
• Participate in Disaster Recovery (DR) planning and lead system builds for DR tests.
• Configure and support MIMIX replication for high availability and data recovery.
• Administer user profiles, manage job queues, and perform system backups/restorations.
• Monitor and tune system performance, analyse logs, and ensure capacity planning.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues related to iSeries.
• Work closely with development, application support, and operations teams.
• Document configuration, SOPs, and contribute to automation initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with audit and IT security standards.
• Actively participate in team discussions, knowledge sharing, and technical reviews.
• Mentor junior admins and contribute to building team capability. Professional & Technical Skills:
• Strong proficiency in IBM iSeries (AS/400) systems administration
• Hands-on experience with MIMIX for replication and high availability
• Knowledge of OS upgrades, IPL, PTF management, and system recovery
• Experience in DR drills, capacity planning, and performance optimization Additional Information:
• This is a full-time role based in Pune, with flexibility based on organizational policy.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills are required.
• Must be ready to 24*7 support.
• The candidate should have minimum 4-5 years of experience in IBM iSeries.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
