Job Description

A Warranty In-charge at a Royal Enfield service center is responsible for managing customer warranty claims, ensuring compliance with OEM guidelines, analyzing field failures to identify root causes, coordinating the replacement of defective parts, and providing support and reporting to sales and management teams. Their core duty is to uphold the warranty policy by facilitating the repair or replacement of genuinely defective components, thereby ensuring customer satisfaction and controlling warranty costs. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Warranty Claims:
  • Process and approve or reject warranty claims submitted by customers and dealers.
  • Ensure all claims adhere to the guidelines outlined in the Royal Enfield warranty policy.
  • Analyze Field Failures:
  • Examine warranty/field complaints to identify recurring issues or trends.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for vehicle and component failures to understand their origin (e.g., manufacturing, assembly, supplier, or dealer/customer related).
  • Coordinate Part Replacements:
  • Arrange for the replacement of parts that are confirmed to have a manufacturing defect under the warranty terms.
  • Ensure genuine Royal Enfield parts are used for replacements.
  • Maintain Customer & Internal Communication:
  • Communicate with the sales team and dealership network to provide feedback on warranty claims and issues.
  • Serve as a liaison with other departments to ensure the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Track key warranty metrics, such as fault frequency, costs, and customer complaints.
  • Prepare and submit monthly MIS (Management Information System) reports to department management on field issues and warranty performance.
  • Ensure Corrective Actions:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely implementation of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to resolve identified problems.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of these actions to control warranty budget expenditure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
