Job Description

Warranty Spend Project Management - Powertrain commodityRoles & Responsibilities

Drive actions for NA warranty spend concerns jointly with QB / PD.
Determine the liability for warranty claims and costs for externally supplied parts/components/systems.
Track/investigate status of CPR ( Cost Per Repair) high contributors project status in JIRA.
Drive the resolution of technical field concerns, related to supplier recovery, using the G8D problem solving tool and drive the escalation process between Product Development and Purchasing.
Review and approve functional Warranty Part Requests
Initiate actions jointly with QB using 13 Warranty Reduction Tools for high spend parts .

Co- Lead – PAT meeting and FSQR meetings jointly with QB for driving actions.
Tools- MS Office with advanced Excel tools and PowerPoint

CQIS / GSAR data analysis
DMAIC / 8D methodology
BSAQ
Quality . AI
JIRA tickets handling.
Data Cubes / ECB
Knowledge and experience in Data Analytical and visualation tools tools ( Alteryx , Python , Power BI).
Good Interpersonal skills
Excellent command on Verbal and Written communication

B.E / B.Tech with 1:3 years or Diploma with 3:5 years experience

Customer Interface function in any automotive industryWilling to work in NA Shift timingKnowledge of quality indicatorsProduct developmentLaunch or Plant experienceSix Sigma Greenbelt or Blackbelt
