Job Title: Supervisor Cold Storage

Position Summary:

The Cold Storage Operations Supervisor is responsible for leading day-to-day floor operations to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient handling of temperature-sensitive products. The role focuses on meeting customer SLAs, optimizing processes to improve productivity, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring zero-error dispatch. The supervisor acts as the primary point of contact for all inbound and outbound activities while safeguarding product and temperature integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise floor teams to consistently achieve operational KPIs and customer SLAs.
  • Handle and monitor temperature-sensitive (Frozen & Chilled) products during inbound and outbound operations.
  • Implement and standardize operational processes for improved productivity and accuracy.
  • Ensure strict adherence to FIFO/FEFO practices and robust inventory control.
  • Lead stock verification, replenishment, cycle counting, and bin audits to maintain zero-variance inventory accuracy.
  • Monitor picking, packing, and put-away activities; benchmark productivity and optimize resource utilization.
  • Ensure proper upkeep, safety, and physical condition of the warehouse premises and cold storage infrastructure.
  • Maintain 100% compliance with SOPs and customer-specific requirements; support no deviation without documented approval.
  • Act as the single point of contact for customer communications related to warehouse operations, ensuring timely execution and feedback.
  • Drive zero-error receiving and dispatch processes.
  • Conduct routine temperature monitoring, documentation, and compliance checks aligned with food safety standards.
  • Manage operations across e-commerce, B2B/B2C, and CICO/FC distribution models.
  • Ensure timely escalation and resolution of issues to avoid customer complaints.
  • Support audits, effective WMS utilization, inventory reconciliation, and prepare daily operational MIS reports.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate in any discipline.
  • Minimum 45 years of experience in warehouse operations (preferably in QSR, food service, cold chain, or FMCG logistics).
  • Proficient in WMS, MS Excel, and general IT systems.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse processes, inventory control, food safety protocols, and temperature compliance management.
