Key Responsibilities: * Operations Management: * Plan, organize, and coordinate daily cold storage and distribution activities to ensure efficiency and adherence to company policies and regulatory standards (e.g., FSSAI guidelines for food safety). * Supervise all aspects of goods receiving, inspection, storage (including proper stacking and space utilization), order picking, packing, and dispatch within a temperature-controlled environment. * Monitor and maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels within the cold storage facility, promptly troubleshooting any deviations. * Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse activities, including temperature monitoring, inventory management, quality assurance, and safety protocols. * Inventory Management: * Oversee accurate inventory control processes, including stock reconciliation, cycle counts, and minimizing waste and discrepancies. * Utilize inventory management systems (WMS) to track stock levels, ensure accurate reporting, and optimize storage capacity. * Manage product rotation (FIFO/FEFO) to ensure freshness and minimize spoilage. * Team Leadership & Development: * Lead, train, mentor, and supervise a team of warehouse associates, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. * Assign tasks, monitor performance, provide constructive feedback, and conduct regular performance reviews. * Ensure staff adherence to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of refrigerated goods, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and emergency procedures. * Quality & Compliance: * Conduct regular inspections of facilities, equipment (refrigeration units, forklifts, etc.), and procedures to ensure proper functioning, cleanliness, and compliance with industry standards and company policies. * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of government regulations and industry best practices related to cold storage and distribution in India, particularly those relevant to Kerala. * Assist with internal and external audits (e.g., food safety audits, regulatory inspections) and implement corrective actions as necessary. * Logistics & Coordination: * Collaborate effectively with other departments (e.g., procurement, logistics, sales, quality control) to ensure smooth product flow and timely delivery. * Coordinate with transport providers for efficient inbound and outbound shipments. * Problem Solving & Reporting: * Identify areas for improvement in cold storage operations and implement corrective actions. * Analyze performance metrics and generate reports on inventory levels, operational efficiency, and compliance. * Address and resolve operational issues, customer complaints, and staff concerns promptly and effectively. Qualifications: * Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. A diploma or relevant certification with extensive experience will also be considered. * Experience: * Minimum of [3-5+] years of proven experience in warehouse management, with at least [2-3+] years specifically in a cold storage or temperature-controlled environment. * Demonstrated experience in supervising and leading a team. * Skills & Knowledge: * Strong understanding of cold chain management principles and best practices. * Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality standards (e.g., FSSAI, HACCP). * Proficiency in inventory management software and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). * Excellent leadership, communication (both verbal and written in English and Malayalam), and interpersonal skills. * Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities. * Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment. * Knowledge of local logistics and distribution networks in Kerala is a plus. * Basic computer proficiency (MS Office Suite). Physical Requirements: * Ability to work in cold temperatures for extended periods (appropriate thermal gear will be provided). * Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required. * Physical stamina to perform duties that may involve standing, walking, bending, and reaching. Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Senior Documentation Executive with a strong background in import documentation processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all documentation related to our international fruit imports, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, and maintaining efficient operational flows. This role is crucial for our supply chain and requires a keen eye for detail, proactive problem-solving, and excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Import Documentation Management: Prepare, review, and manage all necessary documentation for import shipments, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading/airway bills, certificates of origin, phytosanitary certificates, and other customs-related documents. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all import documentation complies with Indian customs regulations, EXIM policies, food safety standards (FSSAI), and other relevant government norms. Coordination: Liaise effectively with overseas suppliers, clearing agents, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and internal departments (logistics, sales, finance) to ensure timely and accurate documentation flow. Problem Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues in documentation to prevent delays in customs clearance and shipment delivery. Record Keeping: Maintain comprehensive and organized records of all import documentation, both physical and digital, for audit and reference purposes. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline documentation processes and improve efficiency. Domain Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of import procedures, customs regulations, and international trade terms (Incoterms).
