Job Description

Role & responsibilities • Driving Improvements at site with implementation of Kaizens, DWMS, Six Sigma methodologies. • Ensure safety practices & discipline to be followed in operational area. • Supervise, monitor & review inventory accuracy via planned cycle count, monthly inventory reconciliation, inventory analysis and related reports. • Encourage the team to build up innovative ideas and imbibe the culture in every team member • Managing operational resources required for operational activities as per contract in order to avoid operational concerns. • Ensure proper utilization of resources & proper material handling in operations. • Manage & lead all employees in the location to ensure work discipline. Engaging, directing and supporting persons to contribute to the effectiveness of the quality management system • Responsible to handle critical IR issues & resolving disputes in timely manner • To provide required inputs to customer and management for existing or new contracts (if any). • Assign, monitor & review of individual performance as per KRA & Develop plan for preformance improvement • Managing & Reviewing BA performance on monthly basis with remedies in case of deficient performance • Responsible for driving audit activities for EMS, OHSMS, QMS, Other audits & Customer audits etc. • Ensuring that the quality management system achieves its intended results • Reviewing and implementation of Quality policy, Quality Objectives (KPI's) • Ensuring the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization by use of process approach & risk based thinking. • Driving MRM's with Customer and Internal Team as per schedule. • Monitoring of statutory and legal requirements for the site. • Monitoring of DWM and TMW requirements for the site. • Ensuring that the resources needed for the quality management system are available. • Supporting other relevant management roles to demonstrate their leadership as it applies to their areas of responsibility • Ensuring employee development & engagement to maintain high morale. • Co-ordinating with customer for both operational & improvement requirements • Mentor and give required training to the team. • Ensure smooth running of operation and avoid debit and penalties due to any operational failure/violation/deviation. Additional Skill Required: Six sigma, Lean, Supply chain management, Warehouse design, Transportation management, WMS, SAP, TMS, Project management solutions.
