Description:

We are looking for a dynamic Assistant Manager Returns Operations to join our Central SCM team. The role will be responsible for driving the end-to-end returns process for Pan India Coordinating with major warehouses, ensuring smooth reverse logistics, cost efficiency, and enhanced customer experience. The ideal candidate will have strong operational acumen, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders including warehouses, logistics, customer experience, and category teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Returns Management
• Oversee and streamline the entire returns operations for Pan India.
• Define and monitor SOPs for reverse logistics, QC, and refurbishment/disposal of returned products.
• Track and ensure timely resolution of return cases to enhance customer satisfaction.
  
• Process & Compliance
  
• Standardize returns processes across the network for efficiency and cost optimization.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, quality checks, and audit compliance in returns handling.
• Drive initiatives to minimize avoidable returns through root cause analysis and feedback loops.
  
• Stakeholder Collaboration
  
• Work closely with warehouse managers, logistics teams, and customer experience teams for smooth coordination.
• Collaborate with category, quality, and finance teams for returns disposition (resale, refurbishment, scrap).
• Act as central POC for escalations and issue resolution related to returns.
  
• Data & Reporting
  
• Track key metrics: return rates, TATs, cost per return, salvage recovery.
• Generate MIS and analytics to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Recommend and implement automation/digitization in returns processes.
  

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience in returns/reverse logistics, or Central supply chain operations in Inventory Operations.
  
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and process design.
  
• Proficiency in MS Excel, data, and reporting tools.
  
• Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with cross-functional collaboration
