Role Overview: As the VP/Sr. Director - Finance in the Global Asset Unit, you will be a key leader responsible for overseeing and managing the financial operations, strategies, and performance of the organization. Your role will involve managing financial planning, reporting, risk management, and ensuring the organization's financial health and compliance with relevant regulations. Your expertise in technical accounting, transfer pricing, and management of IP assets will be crucial in ensuring the integrity of financial data and providing strategic financial counsel to executive leadership. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute financial strategy aligned with organizational business goals, including long-term financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. - Implement comprehensive asset management strategies to achieve investment objectives, maximize returns, and mitigate risks. - Provide strategic financial analysis to guide decisions on assets acquisitions, licensing agreements, and divestitures. - Oversee preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial reports. - Manage end-to-end accounting for all intangible assets, ensuring compliance with global accounting standards. - Establish and enforce robust financial controls and policies for capitalization, amortization, impairment, and disposition of assets. - Lead preparation of all IP-related financial disclosures for internal and external reporting. - Monitor and manage risks associated with the portfolio, implementing measures to protect asset value and ensure compliance. - Conduct in-depth financial analysis to provide insights into financial performance, trends, and improvement opportunities. - Make strategic financial decisions using data-driven analysis. - Implement risk management strategies to safeguard assets and investments. - Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws. - Drive development and implementation of transfer pricing policies for inter-company IP usage. - Oversee revenue recognition process and collaborate with tax and legal teams for transfer pricing documentation. - Maintain relationships with regulatory authorities and auditors. - Direct valuation and financial modeling for intangible assets. - Drive annual and ad-hoc impairment testing process and partner with R&D for financial categorization of expenses. - Establish and maintain financial controls, policies, and procedures to prevent fraud and errors. - Manage finance information systems for critical financial performance analysis. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance or equivalent. - CA/CS/CMA or equivalent, candidates with CS degree preferred. - 15+ years of relevant experience, global experience in IP Assets Management preferred.,
