VP - Head of Change

As VP Head of Change at Barclays, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of the Compliance team in India and supporting the broader Transformation and Change portfolio. Your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Supporting the establishment of a Compliance presence in India and achieving broader functional transformational objectives - Executing Compliance Automate Core Process projects and identifying opportunities for process reengineering, automation, and change - Providing PMO support on governance and reporting requirements to the Group, particularly focusing on Automate Core Processes (ACP) - Managing stakeholder relationships, fostering collaborative communication, and facilitating decision-making processes To excel in this position, you should possess experience in: - Stakeholder Management, specifically within the Compliance department and global Technology teams - Efficiently managing Process and Technology Change using defined Change Management Delivery Standards (GMDS) - Business Transformation and transition expertise, preferably in Compliance or finance processes - Locational strategy implementation for establishing new/transitioning business processes - On-shoring and off-shoring business process knowledge - Change Management proficiency, including managing risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies - Project and Process Management skills, including conducting reviews and overseeing change projects - Organizational design in financial services, with a focus on the Compliance sector - Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences - Leadership experience in driving performance and fostering continuous personal development Additionally, the following skills are highly valued: - Decision-making with active critical thinking - Postgraduate/MBA with banking institution background - Change Management qualifications like PMP, AMP - Experience in delivering large-scale programs - Proficiency in change management principles (Agile and Waterfall methodology) Your assessment may encompass critical skills crucial for success in the role, including risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology expertise, as well as job-specific technical skills.
