Position Overview

The VP & Head - Administration & Facilities will be responsible for overseeing and driving all administrative functions of the University to ensure efficient campus operations, infrastructure management, and service excellence. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in strategic planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of administrative systems to support the University's academic and institutional goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Campus Operations & Facility Management

• Oversee campus infrastructure, housekeeping, security, transport, cafeteria, and maintenance operations.
  
• Ensure upkeep, safety, and functionality of all physical assets and facilities.
  
• Drive initiatives for sustainable and green campus operations.
  

2. Strategic Planning & Policy Implementation

• Develop and implement administrative policies, SOPs, and service standards.
  
• Support senior leadership in strategic planning for infrastructure expansion, resource optimization, and operational efficiency.
  
• Coordinate with statutory and regulatory bodies for compliance and audit requirements.
  

3. Budgeting & Cost Control

• Prepare and manage the annual administrative budget.
  
• Ensure cost-effectiveness through continuous process improvements and resource utilization.
  

4. Safety, Security & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with fire safety, health, and environmental norms.
  
• Supervise the campus security operations and emergency response systems.
  

5. Staff Supervision & Development

• Lead and mentor the administrative team to ensure high performance and accountability.
  
• Foster a culture of responsiveness, service orientation, and operational excellence.
  

6. Stakeholder Coordination

• Liaise with academic, research, and support departments for seamless administrative support.
  
• Represent the administration department in management and governance meetings.
