Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for meeting with IT managers to determine the company's networking needs, analyzing existing VoIP networks and computer systems, and developing architecture plans for voice and data services. Your role will involve installing network hardware modules, designing and implementing VOIP systems, and supporting the transition from legacy Siemens PBX to VOIP network. As a VoIP Engineer, you will troubleshoot VoIP network issues, analyze and upgrade network security systems and protocols, and manage network installations for future expansion. Additionally, you will be required to train staff on network and system protocols, monitor voice equipment, and manage incidents for call centers. Key Responsibilities: - Meeting with IT managers to determine the company's networking needs - Analyzing existing VoIP networks and computer systems - Developing architecture plans for voice and data services - Installing network hardware modules including IP and PBX communication servers - Designing and implementing VOIP systems - Supporting Legacy Siemens PBX during the transition - Managing transition from legacy Siemens PBX to VOIP network - Troubleshooting VoIP network issues - Analyzing and upgrading network security systems and protocols - Adding network users and managing company permissions - Optimizing network installations for future expansion - Training staff on network and system protocols - Routine monitoring of voice equipment, inclusive of patching and system performance-related events - Managing incidents for call centers, including call flows, agents, and reporting systems Qualifications Required: - 1-3 years of experience in VoIP engineering - Familiarity with a centralized ticketing system - Proficiency in managing network security systems and protocols - Ability to analyze and upgrade network infrastructure - Strong communication skills to collaborate with IT managers and train staff - Knowledge of voice equipment monitoring and troubleshooting (Note: No additional details about the company were provided in the job description.)
