The Visual Designer, Studio plays an integral role in a dynamic, global in-house studio team within an internal Art Department. This position is responsible for maintaining the highest level of visual quality and design consistency across all creative outputs. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of design principles, production processes, and brand compliance. A sharp eye for layout, typography, image selection, and overall design aesthetics is essential to succeed in this role. As a key member of the studio, the Visual Designer will be responsible for ensuring that all creative assets meet internal brand standards and align with stakeholder expectations. This individual will review design work from concept to execution, providing constructive feedback to improve quality and ensure adherence to brand guidelines. The role requires someone who is not only technically proficient in design tools but also capable of identifying and addressing design issues that may compromise visual integrity or project effectiveness. Key Responsibilities Thoroughly review all studio design projects, including layouts, typography, image usage, and other visual elements, to ensure they align with creative direction, internal brand standards, and stakeholder requirements. Maintain a consistently high standard of quality across all creative assets produced by the studio. Ensure every project meets design integrity standards, including visual hierarchy, layout accuracy, color usage, and file preparation. Identify and report design inconsistencies or skill gaps to the Studio Team Manager, contributing to ongoing performance improvements and studio efficiency. Collaborate closely with fellow designers, creative leads, and studio managers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality creative work. Offer proactive design guidance, clarify project requirements, and communicate clear expectations to team members to maintain consistency and design excellence. Manage a high volume of design reviews while maintaining attention to detail and adherence to deadlines. Conduct technical reviews and validation of design templates created by the global Art Department, ensuring templates follow best practices and meet visual standards. Support inquiries about template usage and layout recommendations, providing alternative solutions where necessary to meet design and communication objectives. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communications, Graphic Design, or a related discipline. 5–7 years of professional experience in a design studio, agency, or a similarly structured creative environment. Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and CC Libraries. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy, consistency, and quality assurance in design. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders. A professional demeanor with a collaborative and constructive approach to feedback and creative dialogue.
