What You'll Do
As a Visual Design Lead, you will:
- Own hands-on design execution (key visuals, adaptations, resizing, performance assets).
- Act as a bridge with clients/marketing managers interpreting briefs, ensuring brand consistency.
- Constantly looking for workflow efficiencies, automation, and scaling methods (templates, AI tools, better production pipelines).
- Develop detailed project plans, outlining scope, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Support creative teams in adopting tools and workflows (Adobe, Figma, generative AI) for efficient execution.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring smooth execution across stakeholders.
- Remain hands-on in production work, setting a high creative and technical standard for the team.
Who You Are
- 5+ years of design experience in a creative/production agency or in-house marketing team.
- Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in campaign creative production and adaptation.
- Experience working directly with senior-level marketing and creative folks
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma
- Experience with generative AI tools for creative work
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Open to working in the US shift (4:00 pm to 1:00 am)
- Strong preference for creative / media agency experience
- Learn continuously, improve based on feedback, and identify with our Prime Directives
Note: This is a hybrid position with a few hours of work from office on some days.

What Your First 60 Days Will Look Like

Week 1–4: Get your hands dirty, fast.
- You’ll dive straight into Rocketium’s AI-Studio, understanding the AI Creative Studio positioning and how workflows differ from traditional agencies.
- Shadow customer interactions to see how briefs are collected and projects executed.
- Map out the existing project lifecycle from brief → execution → delivery → feedback.
- Meet internal creative team members, product partners, and customer success managers.
- Build relationships with key customers (starting with low-stakes interactions).

Week 3–8: Take the reins.
- Independently manage the intake of creative briefs from customers.
- Coach customers on how to structure briefs more effectively (share the guide, gather feedback).
- Build trust by being proactive in communication, managing expectations, and ensuring smooth delivery.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and compliant with brand/legal standards.
- Introduce status updates/reporting cadence for visibility across teams.
- Experiment with Rocketium’s AI + generative tools in live projects.
- Share feedback with the team on how AI can speed up execution or reduce repetitive work.
