Job Title: Videographer & Editor

Overview:
We are seeking a creative and technically proficient Videographer & Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will plan and execute shoots, as well as manage the full post-production workflow, delivering high-quality branded video content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute video shoots: collaborate with creative team/clients, select locations, set up cameras, lighting, audio equipment, props, and other gear.
  • Operate video equipment: use DSLR/mirrorless/professional video cameras, microphones and lighting to capture footage on-site or in-studio.
  • Manage post-production workflow: ingest raw footage, organize files, edit and assemble footage into polished final videos.
  • Apply storytelling techniques: review raw material, select best takes, sequence shots so the story flows, maintain continuity, align with brand or client brief.
  • Add audio/music/sound effects and graphics/motion-graphics to enhance production value.
  • Ensure final videos meet quality standards (visual, audio, format) and deadlines.
  • Handle equipment setup/breakdown, maintain gear, ensure proper backup of footage/projects.
  • Keep up-to-date with video production trends, social-video formats (if relevant), tools and best practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Videographer & Editor (with portfolio of work).
  • Proficiency with editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, VN, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
  • Strong technical skills: camera operation, lighting, sound recording, colour grading, audio mixing.
  • Excellent creative and storytelling ability: visualise end product, sequence footage, maintain pacing and engagement.
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills (file management, project versions, equipment).
  • Ability to work under deadlines, manage multiple projects, collaborate with teams/clients.
  • Good communication skills: interpret creative briefs, coordinate with teams/clients, present draft edits and incorporate feedback.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Communications, Media or related (preferred but not essential).
  • Willingness to travel for shoot locations and work flexible hours (early mornings, evenings, weekends) as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
