• Edit engaging 30–45 second Reels/ Ads designed for virality and hook
retention
• Work with pre-written scripts, screen recordings, raw UGC, and AI-
generated assets
• Add motion graphics, on-screen text, memes, zooms, speed ramps, sound
effects, subtitles
• Create transformation-style videos, split-screen edits, product demos,
and meme-react edits
• Follow and adapt to trending formats, transitions, and sounds
• Collaborate with creative leads to turn hooks + visual briefs into scroll-
stopping videos
• Have 2+ years experience editing short-form social content for brands,
creators, or startups
• Can edit fast-paced, snappy videos with attention to hook timing and
audience retention
• Understand formats like: “Before vs After”, “I Tried This Tool”, “Founder
POV”, “AI Prompt Reveal”, “Broken System” hooks
• Are fluent in tools like Adobe Premiere, CapCut, After Effects, or Final
Cut Pro
• Bonus: Experience editing for AI tools, SaaS, or content creators
• You know how to make videos look native — not ads
