Video Editor AI-Powered Shortform Content (Instagram & TikTok)

The responsibilities of this role include editing engaging 30-45 second Reels/Ads with the aim of creating viral content and maintaining audience engagement. You will be working with pre-written scripts, screen recordings, raw User-Generated Content (UGC), and AI-generated assets. Tasks will involve incorporating motion graphics, on-screen text, memes, zooms, speed ramps, sound effects, subtitles, creating transformation-style videos, split-screen edits, product demos, and meme-react edits. You are expected to follow and adapt to trending formats, transitions, and sounds while collaborating with creative leads to transform hooks and visual briefs into captivating videos. The ideal candidate should possess at least 2 years of experience in editing short-form social content for brands, creators, or startups. Proficiency in creating fast-paced, engaging videos with a focus on hook timing and audience retention is essential. Familiarity with various video formats such as Before vs After, I Tried This Tool, Founder POV, AI Prompt Reveal, and Broken System hooks is required. Proficiency in tools like Adobe Premiere, CapCut, After Effects, or Final Cut Pro is necessary. Additional experience in editing for AI tools, Software as a Service (SaaS), or content creators is a bonus.
