As a Video Editor, you’ll shape engaging visual narratives that elevate our brand and connect with diverse audiences across platforms. Your expertise in editing, motion graphics, and storytelling—powered by industry-standard and AI-driven tools—will bring creative briefs to life with clarity and impact. You’ll collaborate closely with marketing and design teams, transforming abstract ideas into polished videos optimized for maximum reach. Working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, you’ll blend artistic vision with the latest trends and AI technologies to deliver standout customer stories, product explainers, and dynamic campaign assets.

Primary responsibilities for Video Editor include and are not restricted to the following:

Editing & Assembly

·       Review and select the best footage from shoots, ensuring alignment with creative briefs.

·       Trim, splice, and assemble sequences into clear, compelling narratives.

·       Create multiple versions of the same video for A/B testing or tailored audience groups.

Creative Collaboration

·       Work closely with the marketing and design teams to understand project goals and target audiences.

·       Contribute fresh ideas for visual storytelling, transitions, and pacing.

·       Translate abstract concepts into clear, engaging video output.

Enhancements & Effects

·       Add text overlays, motion graphics, animations, subtitles, and captions.

·       Incorporate music, voiceovers, and sound effects for maximum emotional impact.

·       Apply color correction and grading to maintain brand consistency and professional polish.

Platform Optimization

·       Adapt video formats, aspect ratios, and run-times for platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, X, and the CambrianEdge.ai website.

·       Optimize content for performance, SEO, and audience engagement across social and paid channels.

Asset & Workflow Management

·       Organize and maintain raw footage, graphics, sound files, and project archives.

·       Manage deadlines across multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery.

·       Maintain consistency with brand guidelines across all content.

Staying Ahead

·       Keep up with new editing software, AI tools, and creative trends.

·       Suggest and test new approaches to video that elevate CambrianEdge.ai’s storytelling.

Specific Tasks

·       Editing customer success stories into short, impactful case-study videos.

·       Producing product walkthroughs and demo videos for marketing campaigns.

·       Creating social-first clips (snappy, bold, shareable) from longer content.

·       Building animated explainers to simplify complex AI/marketing concepts.

·       Supporting brand launches and campaign rollouts with video assets.

·       Enhancing internal assets (team updates, webinars, workshops) with professional polish.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

We seek an ideal candidate who can demonstrate or possesses the following qualifications and attributes:

·       Minimum 3–4 years’ professional video editing experience in agency, tech, or creative environments.

·       Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Digital Media, Communications, Animation, or a related field preferred.

·       Video-editing industry certifications (Adobe, Apple, Avid) are valued and considered a plus

  • Proven experience as a video editor (portfolio required).
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with motion graphics and animation.
  • Strong understanding of pacing, visual rhythm, and audience engagement.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Ability to utilise AI tools like elevenlabs to create videos
