Role Overview

Video Editor Expert

Key Responsibilities

• Edit

  short-form and long-form video content

  for platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, websites, ads, and internal brand assets
• Own end-to-end video editing workflows: raw footage review, storytelling structure, pacing, transitions, and final delivery
• Design and implement

  advanced motion graphics

  including animated text, lower-thirds, transitions, icons, and branded visual elements
• Add and manage

  captions, subtitles, titles, overlays

  , and graphic elements optimized for different platforms
• Ensure videos align with

  brand guidelines

  , tone, and visual consistency
• Perform

  basic-to-intermediate color correction and audio cleanup

  to maintain professional output quality
• Collaborate with stakeholders on creative direction, feedback, and iteration cycles
• Optimize videos for performance (aspect ratios, resolutions, formats, platform best practices)
• Maintain clean, well-organized project files and asset libraries
• Support and guide junior editors or interns when needed
• Stay updated with

  social media video trends, editing styles, and AI-assisted workflows

Required Skills & Expertise (Must-Have)

• 4+ years of professional experience

  in video editing and motion graphics
• Advanced proficiency in

  Adobe Premiere Pro

  (timeline management, audio sync, exports, workflow optimization)
• Strong working knowledge of

  Adobe After Effects

  (text & shape animations, motion presets, compositing, templates)
• Solid understanding of

  motion graphics fundamentals

  : timing, easing, typography, composition, and visual hierarchy
• Experience using

  AI tools

  for captions, editing assistance, cleanup, enhancement, or workflow speed-ups
• Strong storytelling skills with a

  marketing and social-media-first mindset

• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently

Good to Have (Bonus Skills)

• Experience editing

  performance-driven content

  (ads, reels, shorts, explainer videos)
• Knowledge of

  advanced color grading workflows

• Experience with YouTube long-form content and podcast-style edits
• Familiarity with US-market content styles and audience expectations
• Experience collaborating with marketing or growth teams
