Job Title: Video Editor Intern Company: Brikoven Private LimitedLocation: Indiranagar Type: Internship Reports To:Videographer/ Creative Head Role OverviewAs a Videographer Intern at Brikoven, you will assist in producing high‑quality video content that supports our brand’s visual identity and communication strategies. You’ll work closely with the creative team throughout the video production cycle — from ideation and storyboarding, to shooting, editing, and final delivery. This is a hands‑on role meant to build your skills and portfolio, while helping Brikoven to tell engaging visual stories.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in planning and developing video concepts, storyboards, and scripts in alignment with the company’s branding and campaign objectives.Operate video / camera equipment (DSLR / mirrorless / phone / gimbal etc.) during shoots (studio shoots, location shoots, interviews, product shoots, events).Assist with lighting, audio recording, framing, and composition to ensure high production value.Edit raw footage to create polished final videos – cutting, color correction / grading, adding graphics / titles / transitions as needed.Adapt/format video content for different platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.), optimizing for length, aspect ratio, and style.Collaborate with social media / marketing team to align video content with campaign messaging and schedule.Maintain and organize video assets, file management, and backup of footage.Help with equipment setup, checking maintenance, and ensuring gear is ready and in working condition.Stay up‑to‑date with video / content / storytelling trends; bring ideas for fresh video formats, creative styles.Occasionally assist with other related tasks: thumbnails, subtitles, motion graphics, voice over sync, etc.Qualifications & SkillsCurrently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Film / Multimedia / Communications / Mass Media / Visual Arts or related field; or demonstrably strong experience through portfolio.Basic proficiency with video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).Familiarity with camera operation, lighting, sound recording.Motion Graphics knowledge Strong visual sense, good eye for composition, color, framing.Creative storytelling skills – ability to translate ideas / briefs into engaging video content.Ability to adapt based on feedback; detail‑oriented.Good time management and ability to work on multiple projects / meet deadlines.Self‑driven, eager to learn, and comfortable collaborating in a team.Portfolio or samples of video work preferred.What You’ll Gain / Learning OutcomesHands‑on experience in all phases of video production.Opportunity to build a professional portfolio with diverse content types (promos, social media content, product videos, events).Exposure to creative / campaign planning, branding, visual storytelling.Mentorship from experienced video / creative professionals.Understanding of adapting content across platforms.Insight into workflow processes: logistics, equipment, post‑production pipeline.
