Role Overview

Video Editor

Key Responsibilities

• Edit long-form YouTube videos, news explainers, interviews, and field reports
• Create short-form content: Reels, Shorts, promos, and teasers optimized for different platforms
• Add motion graphics, titles, transitions, and high-impact visual effects
• Work closely with content team, producers and scriptwriters to maintain narrative clarity and engagement
• Adjust pacing, mood, colour, sound design & overall storytelling style based on project needs
• Maintain and organize footage, project files & backups
• Ensure quick turnaround while meeting high-quality standards
• Stay updated with social media & news content trends to maximize virality

Skills & Requirements

• Proficiency in

  Adobe Premiere Pro

  (must)
• Experience with

  After Effects

  , Photoshop, DaVinci Resolve or similar tools preferred
• Strong sense of story, pace, and visual innovation
• Experience editing newsroom, political, or documentary style content is a big plus
• Ability to work on tight deadlines with a problem-solving mindset
• 1–4 years of professional editing experience preferred
• (Freshers with strong portfolio may also apply)
