Key Responsibilities: - Understand global Insurance framework and actively challenge the existing framework - Work closely with client CFO to develop, refine, and implement new strategies for the finance function - Develop and optimize growth strategies for clients in the insurance industry - Design analytics strategies to mine data for insights and decision-making - Increase efficiency and lower costs for insurance industry clients - Work with companies to increase the agility of their information technology and digital assets - Design client solutions to nurture customer relationships and earn customer loyalty - Support insurance compliance and risk officers in satisfying complex regulations - Lead a team of senior F&A staff in India to ensure smooth delivery and assist in new product and geographical expansion - Oversee finance & accounting teams, identify opportunities for improvement, support innovation in hiring strategies, and suggest improvement ideas for standard global operations Qualifications Required: - Chartered Accountant/CPA with 18+ years of post-qualification experience - Experience as a controller in a global environment (preferred) - Good understanding of P&C and L&R Insurance products - Experience working in collaboration with other teams like actuarial, IT, etc. - Experience of understanding and challenging existing accounting treatments - Experience of planning and forecasting cycle in a large organization (preferred) - US GAAP exposure Additional Company Details: Xceedance offers structured learning roadmaps based on the job role, providing robust new hire training, developmental training, and destination programs.
