Job Description

As the Vice President Sales in the pharmaceutical and diagnostics sector, your role will involve driving business growth, managing the sales team, and achieving revenue objectives. Your deep industry knowledge and proven sales leadership experience will be crucial in developing strategic partnerships and maintaining strong customer relationships. Here is a breakdown of your responsibilities: - Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve business growth and profitability targets. - Lead, mentor, and motivate regional and zonal sales teams for consistent performance and goal achievement. - Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, diagnostic centers, distributors, and key opinion leaders. - Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and expansion avenues in the pharma and diagnostics market. - Monitor competitor activities and market trends to formulate proactive sales approaches. - Collaborate closely with the marketing, product, and operations teams to align sales initiatives with organizational goals. - Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking for sales operations. - Ensure adherence to compliance, ethical sales practices, and company policies. Qualifications and Skills required for this role include: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or Business Administration (MBA preferred). - 5-10 years of proven sales leadership experience in the Pharma / Diagnostics industry. - Strong business acumen and analytical mindset with a strategic approach to sales management. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and team management skills. - Proven ability to drive revenue growth and manage P&L responsibilities. - Strong professional network across hospitals, diagnostic chains, and healthcare institutions.
