About the Role

Claro Energy is looking for a senior B2B sales leader to head its rooftop solar sales strategy for Commercial & Industrial clients. This role will focus on institutional sales across factories, MSMEs, warehouses, and educational institutions with deal sizes ranging from 50 kWp+.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own and achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets in the C&I rooftop segment
  • Lead consultative sales conversations, including energy savings calculations and financial structuring
  • Structure deals under CAPEX, deferred payment, or PPA models in collaboration with finance teams
  • Build and manage relationships with EPC partners, consultants, banks, and industry forums
  • Oversee end-to-end deal lifecycle from audit to closure
  • Represent Claro Energy at industry expos, conferences, and business conclaves


Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in industrial or institutional rooftop solar sales
  • Demonstrated ability to close large-ticket EPC or PPA solar deals
  • Deep understanding of net metering, MNRE subsidy programs, and regional DISCOM procedures
  • Strong track record of managing B2B pipelines across states and industrial sectors
  • Proficiency in sales management tools, proposal systems, and CRMs like Zoho
