Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a

    go-to-market strategy

    for

    solar panels, inverters, and other solar products

    .
  • Establish

    strong dealer, distributor, and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) networks

    for domestic and international markets.
  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities in

    B2B, B2C, and government sectors

    .
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including

    solar developers, institutional clients, and government agencies

    .
  • Conduct

    market research

    to identify demand, analyze competitors, and define pricing strategies.
  • Lead

    sales presentations, negotiations, and contract closures

    with clients.
  • Set and achieve

    monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets

    .
  • Develop

    sales forecasts, reports, and market analysis

    for senior leadership.
  • Establish and implement

    KPIs to monitor sales performance

    and optimize team productivity.
  • Engage with

    government agencies

    to leverage

    subsidies, net metering policies, and solar incentives

    for increased sales.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a

    high-performance sales team

    as the company grows.
  • Build and expand a

    dealer and distributor network across targeted regions

    .
  • Define

    incentive structures and sales training programs

    to motivate and develop the sales team.
  • Work closely with the

    marketing team

    to develop

    lead-generation strategies and promotional campaigns

    .
  • Attend

    solar industry exhibitions, trade shows, and energy summits

    to generate business opportunities.
  • Provide feedback on

    product improvements

    based on customer and market insights.
  • Ensure compliance with

    government regulations, solar subsidies, and licensing requirements

    .
  • Keep track of

    solar policies, net metering regulations, and industry developments

    to stay ahead of market trends.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in

    Business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field

    (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years in

    sales leadership roles

    , preferably in the

    solar or renewable energy sector

    .
  • Strong understanding of

    solar energy markets, government policies, and incentive programs

    .
  • Experience in

    building sales channels, dealer networks, and B2B partnerships

    .
  • Prior experience selling to

    commercial, industrial, and residential customers

    .
  • Ability to work in a

    fast-paced startup environment

    and drive business growth with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in

    CRM tools, sales reporting, and MS Office Suite

    .
  • Strong

    negotiation, team management, and interpersonal skills
