As the Vice President of Global Operations at Kraken, you will be responsible for overseeing international operations, streamlining processes, and ensuring scalability and excellence across global markets. Here is a breakdown of your key responsibilities: - **Global Operational Strategy & Leadership** - Develop and implement Kraken's global operations strategy to ensure efficiency, scalability, and alignment with corporate objectives. - Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple regions, ensuring consistency and compliance with company standards. - Collaborate with executive leadership to design operational models that support global growth and long-term sustainability. - **Process Optimization & Efficiency Management** - Identify opportunities for operational improvement across logistics, compliance, service delivery, and business processes. - Lead continuous improvement initiatives leveraging automation, analytics, and best-in-class operational frameworks. - Implement standardized workflows and KPIs to measure and enhance operational performance globally. - **Cross-Regional Integration & Collaboration** - Coordinate closely with regional offices across North America, Europe, and Asia to ensure operational harmony and best practice sharing. - Build alignment between departments including Finance, Strategy, HR, and Business Development to support unified global execution. - Support the establishment of new regional hubs and integration of acquired entities into Kraken's operational ecosystem. - **Risk Management & Compliance** - Oversee operational risk assessment and implement internal controls to ensure compliance with global regulations and corporate policies. - Partner with legal and compliance teams to maintain operational integrity and manage risk exposure. - Drive initiatives that enhance resilience, security, and business continuity across international operations. - **Team Leadership & Organizational Development** - Build and lead a world-class operations team with a focus on accountability, efficiency, and collaboration. - Foster a performance-driven culture centered on innovation, operational discipline, and continuous improvement. - Coach and develop regional operation leaders to build future-ready capabilities within the organization. **Qualifications:** - Masters degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (MBA preferred). - 12+ years of senior operations or management experience, preferably within global or multi-market organizations. - Proven success in leading large-scale, cross-functional operations across multiple regions. - Strong background in process design, performance optimization, and change management. - Deep understanding of international compliance, governance, and operational standards. - Exceptional leadership, analytical, and communication skills with a global mindset. - Proficiency with ERP systems, data analytics tools, and operational performance dashboards.
