Vice President of Accounting

Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate closely with respective stakeholders across the organization, focusing on operational leadership and strategy. - Develop and implement best practices to enhance processes, system efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of accounting services for clients, including both QSR and non-QSR. - Monitor key performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and profitability. - Drive strategic growth by collaborating with the leadership team to expand business, develop new service offerings, and improve client retention. - Work closely with various departments to understand needs and develop customized solutions, emphasizing the importance of listening and understanding in building strong relationships. - Attract and retain top talent by working with the HR team on attracting strategies to bring in professionals who align with the company's vision. - Oversee and streamline client transitions, ensuring seamless onboarding with zero operational disruption. - Develop structured transition plans tailored to client needs and standardize the transition process within 30-60 days using SOPs, process documents, and automation tools. - Manage data migration, financial reporting, integration, and regulatory compliance throughout the transition process. - Lead the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and automation tools to enhance efficiency and ensure seamless integration of financial systems. - Develop and implement SOPs for streamlined financial operations. - Oversee workforce planning and resource allocation to optimize performance and client service, collaborating with the Training Manager to design and implement training programs. - Manage team performance by setting clear goals, tracking progress, providing feedback, and addressing challenges. - Implement error detection frameworks and automated tracking tools, establish CAPA system with structured SOPs, and drive process automation to minimize errors. - Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring unique accounting needs are met with precision and providing strategic insights. - Develop, implement, and monitor real-time dashboards to track key metrics, client transitions, error rates, operational efficiency, and profitability. - Ensure all accounting operations adhere to industry regulations, tax requirements, and best financial practices. - Manage other assigned responsibilities from management. Qualifications Required: - Graduate in any stream with a diploma/degree in Accounting or Finance. - MBA preferable. - 15+ years of hands-on experience in operations management, including over 10 years in a managerial role, preferably in an accounting or financial services firm serving the QSR industry. - Deep understanding of QSR accounting principles, financial reporting, and industry-specific regulations. - Strong organizational skills, proven record of driving process efficiencies, project management mindset, and process orientation. - Experience with accounting software, automation tools, and data-driven decision-making. - Strong technical acumen, analytical mindset, and innovative thinking. - Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a focus on customer service. - International business experience handling US accounting clients with a valid US Business visa preferable.,
