Vice President of Accounting

As a Vice President - Operations at Indevia, you will play a crucial role in driving strategic initiatives, streamlining processes, and enhancing service delivery for Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) clients. Your responsibilities will include: - **Operational Leadership and Strategy**: - Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization. - Develop and implement best practices to enhance processes, system efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of accounting services for clients (QSR & Non QSR). - Monitor key performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and profitability. - **Strategic Growth**: - Collaborate with the leadership team to drive business expansion, develop new service offerings, and improve client retention. - Work closely with various departments to understand the needs and develop customized solutions. - **Client Transition and Onboarding**: - Oversee and streamline client transitions, ensuring seamless onboarding with zero operational disruption. - Develop structured transition plans tailored to the needs of the clients. - Manage data migration, financial reporting, integration, and regulatory compliance throughout the transition. - Serve as a trusted partner, proactively addressing client concerns and ensuring long-term satisfaction. - **Process Optimization and Technology Integration**: - Lead the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and automation tools to enhance efficiency. - Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for streamlined financial operations. - **Team Development and Management**: - Oversee workforce planning and resource allocation to optimize performance and client service. - Collaborate with the Training Manager to design and implement training programs for onboarding and continuous skill development. - **Error Management and CAPA Control**: - Implement error detection frameworks and automated tracking tools. - Establish a corrective and preventive action (CAPA) system. - Drive process automation and innovation to minimize manual errors. - **Client Relationship Management**: - Maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring their unique accounting needs are met with precision. - Ensure seamless communication and provide strategic insights. - **Financial Oversight for Business Outcomes**: - Develop and maintain visibility of real-time dashboards to track key metrics, client transitions, error rates, and operational efficiency. Qualifications and Skills: - Graduate in any stream plus a diploma/degree in Accounting or Finance. - MBA (Preferable). - 15+ years of hands-on experience in operations management, including more than 10 years in a managerial role. - Deep understanding of QSR accounting principles, financial reporting, and industry-specific regulations. - Strong process orientation and a work ethic focused on thoroughness, precision, and mindfulness. - Experience with accounting software, automation tools, and data-driven decision-making. - Strong technical acumen paired with an analytical mindset and innovative thinking. - Excellent interpersonal communication skills and a strong orientation toward customer service.
