The focus is on creating a robust product pipeline and revenue pipeline across the Army, Navy, and Air Force, strengthening India’s defence readiness through innovative, mission-critical solutions.

Position Summary

We are looking to onboard a senior naval officer (recently retired) with deep understanding of provisioning, medical supply chains, and institutional decision-making within the Indian Navy. This is a Profit & Loss (P&L) leadership role, reporting directly to the CEO, and central to building the Defence vertical by scaling existing patronized products and driving new adoption through DGMS (Navy), DGAFMS, ARS, and other provisioning systems.

The role will involve both expanding revenue and shaping the product line by identifying capability gaps where DefMate’s R&D can deliver relevant defence solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead liaison with DGMS (Navy), DGAFMS, ARS, and other defence procurement units.

• Drive adoption and recurring supply of existing patronized products.

• Build a pipeline of new products aligned with Army, Navy, and Air Force operational needs.

• Identify and define innovation opportunities for DefMate’s R&D team.

• Engage regularly with provisioning authorities in Mumbai, Vizag, and Delhi HQ.

• Ensure protocol-driven, transparent documentation across all defence interactions.

• Travel frequently for high-level meetings, field trials, and stakeholder alignment.

Candidate Profile

• Senior Indian Navy officer (retired or in transition) with experience in provisioning, procurement, or medical logistics.

• Familiarity with DGMS (Navy), DGAFMS, and ARS-based processes.

• Strong institutional network and knowledge of decision-making hierarchies.

• Passionate about innovation and bridging operational gaps through new solutions.

• Highly accountable, proactive, and aligned with DefMate’s mission to serve defence through technology.
