Job Description

As a Key Account Manager in the freight forwarding industry, your role involves delivering sales budgets, driving engagement with key customers, and managing accounts to ensure business growth and profitability. Your responsibilities include: - Delivering the sales budget for end-to-end freight forwarding - Driving culture and initiatives to increase engagement with key customers - Managing and growing 10 to 12 accounts directly as a Key Account Manager - Managing meetings and conversations with internal & external stakeholders - Owning the P&L for the specific vertical and driving business growth - Supporting customer engagement and relationship management - Ensuring best-in-class pipeline hygiene and sales call governance with business associates In addition to your role, you will be responsible for: - Systematically gathering vertical intelligence/insights - Capturing identified vertical-specific needs from frontline and client engagements - Ideating and formulating unmet future needs for the vertical - Developing Vertical Value Propositions and defining packages in collaboration with functional teams - Overseeing that created Vertical value propositions deliver on anticipated contribution Furthermore, you will be involved in: - Supporting Sales Team(s) through sponsorship of Key Pursuits - Acting as a Customer advisor to expand client scope of work - Driving growth and challenging the organizational status quo To qualify for this position, you should have: - 10+ years of experience in a customer-facing sales role in freight forwarding or logistics - Proven success in developing and winning new customer business - Demonstrated leadership experience - Strong communication and engagement skills with key stakeholders - Ability to achieve results through teamwork and collaboration - Skill in building strategic partnerships with customers - Excellent influencing, negotiating, and problem-solving abilities This opportunity at Adani Ports & Logistics offers a chance to contribute to building effective vertical communities within the organization while leveraging your experience and expertise in the industry.,
