Vendor Management Roles & Responsibilities

Day-to-Day Operations:

• Implement day-to-day operations assigned to the Vendor Management Section, ensuring compliance with established standards and procedures.
  
• Complete Finance and Compliance Due Diligence checks for suppliers in coordination with relevant stakeholders, including Finance and Legal departments.
  
• Create and maintain negotiation templates in the e-procurement system for registered categories.
  
• Assist Lead Vendor Management in preparing Vendor Management procedures in line with organizational goals and objectives.
  
• Responsible for the pre-qualification and registration of suppliers.
  
• Categorize approved vendors to meet business requirements.
  
• Assist Lead Vendor Management in monitoring supplier performance periodically, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
  
• Support supplier audits as defined in procedures.
  
• Act as a functional bridge between external vendors and internal stakeholders.
  
• Assist Lead Vendor Management in preparing departmental reports and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
  
• Support the development, monitoring, and reporting of Management Development Programs.
  
• Assist in handling internal and external audits for procurement functions.
  
• Help improve procurement process efficiency through standardization of processes.
  

Direction of Subordinates:

• Organize and supervise the activities of subordinates to ensure efficient and procedurally compliant execution of all Vendor Management activities.
  
• Provide personnel appraisals and identify training requirements for subordinates.
  

Continuous Improvement:

• Contribute to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices, considering international best practices.
  
• Support initiatives for business process improvements, cost reduction, and productivity enhancement.
