VB.NET Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using

  VB.NET

  and

  ASP.NET (WebForms or MVC)

  .
• Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects using

  SQL Server

  .
• Develop interactive front-end features using

  jQuery

  , JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Debug and troubleshoot application issues across development, testing, and production environments.
• Participate in code reviews, system design discussions, and technical documentation.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services when required.
• Optimize application performance and ensure high availability and scalability.
• Collaborate with QA, business analysts, and other team members to deliver quality solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience with

  VB.NET

  and the .NET Framework.
• Hands-on experience with

  ASP.NET

  (WebForms or MVC).
• Strong working knowledge of

  SQL Server

  , including queries, stored procedures, triggers, and performance tuning.
• Experience using

  jQuery

  , JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• Familiarity with source control systems (e.g., Git, TFS).
• Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with

  .NET Core

  or migration projects.
• Knowledge of

  REST APIs

  , JSON, XML.
• Experience developing reports using SSRS or Crystal Reports.
• Exposure to cloud environments (Azure, AWS) is a plus.
