Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced VAT Consultant to manage all aspects of Value Added Tax (VAT) compliance, advisory, and reporting for our clients across the UAE and GCC. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of UAE VAT laws, FTA regulations, and cross-border tax implications.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on UAE VAT laws, FTA regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Prepare and review VAT returns, refund applications, and reconciliations.
• Conduct VAT health checks and ensure accurate VAT accounting and reporting.
• Liaise with the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) on behalf of clients for audits, clarifications, and dispute resolution.
• Assist clients in VAT registration, deregistration, and amendments.
• Analyze transactions for VAT impact — including imports, exports, intra-GCC trade, and e-commerce.
• Keep abreast of updates in tax regulations and communicate key changes to internal teams and clients.
• Support internal training and awareness sessions on VAT compliance and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in VAT advisory, preferably in the UAE or GCC region.
• Strong understanding of FTA guidelines, VAT returns filing, and input/output tax reconciliation.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Zoho Books, Tally, QuickBooks, or Xero).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and client-handling skills.
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA, or UAE VAT Diploma) is an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹550,000.00 per year
