Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Support Grant Thornton UK project teams in providing services relating to financial reporting valuation. Assist in the valuation of intangible assets, Purchase Price allocation, Impairment valuation and other financial reporting valuations.
Effectively use the databases like Capital IQ
Extraction of market data, comparable company analysis, financial statement analysis of the historical and projected financials of the subject company / asset to be valued.
Performing ratio analysis on historical financials of the company as well as ratio analysis on comparable companies.
Conduct detailed data analysis and come up with relevant insights as per the engagement scope and expected deliverable.
Undertake research on various private equity transactions.
Deliver high-quality valuation work products and assist other team members in Grant Thornton UK team, when required.
Clear idea on valuation methodologies and approaches.
Develop valuation model.
Conversant with the reading of the Balance Sheet.
Structure engagement deliverables as per the expectations of the project manager and come up with insights from research and analysis conducted on the client information and sector data.
Learn from the ongoing engagements, have constant urge to learn and avoid repeat errors.
Ensuring effective internal communication with the team members.
Proactively seek work and reach out to continually improve self-results and stretch oneself
Comply with organizational rules, policies, and procedures
