US Trade Lane Manager

Role Overview: As a US Trade Lane Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth and strategic partnerships across the USA-India trade lane. Your role will involve managing carrier relationships, client accounts, pricing strategies, and commercial activities to increase volume and profitability of air and ocean freight (Import & Export) between the US and India. Key Responsibilities: - Build and grow the US-India trade lane by developing strong relationships with agents, partners, and customers in the US. - Identify and pursue new business opportunities with shippers, consignees, and multinational clients trading with the US. - Collaborate with overseas offices, agents, and global partners to align trade lane strategies and service levels. - Promote integrated logistics solutions (Air, Sea, Customs, Warehousing) for US-based clients. - Drive sales growth and maintain key account relationships on the US trade lane. - Coordinate with local and global sales teams to target and convert US trade lane opportunities. - Respond to RFQs, manage pricing strategies, and negotiate contracts with clients and carriers. - Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through continuous engagement and service quality. - Monitor trade lane performance, customer volumes, revenue, and profitability. - Stay updated on US regulations, customs policies, freight rates, and competitive landscape. - Generate regular reports and present trade lane performance insights to leadership. Key Requirements: - Graduate/Postgraduate in Logistics, International Business, or a related field. - 5-10 years of experience in freight forwarding/logistics with a focus on US trade lane. - Deep understanding of US export/import regulations, freight pricing, and transit processes. - Strong network with US-based agents, carriers, and clients is a major advantage. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. - Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and logistics ERP platforms. - Willingness to travel (domestic/international) as needed.,
