Job Description

Responsibilities:

Assist with the monthly close process, quarterly and year-end income tax provision process.
Maintain Corptax Tax Provision and tax attributes modules.
Prepare the U.S. federal and state income tax return supporting workpapers and assist in reviewing the income tax returns prepared by external service providers.
Prepare remittance of quarterly federal and state tax estimated payments.
Assist with income tax notices and assist with tax audits.
Assist with annual R&D tax credit study.
Assist with the SOX 404 compliance, ensure timely performance of SOX 404 documentations.
Assist with ad hoc tax projects.
Identify opportunities to streamline and automate tax processes, leveraging technology.

Required Qualifications:

BS in accounting or finance related degree is required.
2+ years
of corporate tax experience with public accounting firm and/or corporate tax department.
Basic knowledge of US federal and state tax regulations and reporting.
Proficiency with Excel.
Strong analytical and organizational skills; Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and can drive projects to completion in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

MS in taxation, CPA preferred.
Experience with corporate tax preparation software (One source, Corptax, etc.), ERP systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong knowledge of ASC 740, IFRS, IRC41.
