Job Description

Role Title- Assistant Manager Function- Tax Reporting- Manager Location & Shift- Noida (11:00 am-08:00 pm) Role purpose We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable U.S. Tax Reviewer to join our tax department. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, and providing support in various tax-related activities. This role requires a strong understanding of U.S. tax laws, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Key Accountabilities Review corporate, partnership, and other business tax returns to ensure accuracy, compliance, and proper documentation. This includes federal, state, and local tax returns. Ensure that all tax filings comply with the latest tax laws and regulations. Assist in tax planning activities to minimize the organization's tax liabilities while ensuring full compliance. Stay up to date with the latest changes in tax laws, regulations, and case law. Conduct detailed tax research to support tax compliance and planning efforts. Maintain clear and thorough records of tax filings, correspondence, and supporting documents. Assist in preparing tax reports for management and auditors. Collaborate with clients (internal or external) to gather information required for accurate tax filings. Address client queries and provide explanations regarding tax positions and filings. Assist with tax audits, special tax projects, and other ad-hoc assignments as necessary. This may include review and analysis of tax credits, deductions, or other tax-related matters. Identify opportunities for streamlining tax preparation processes and improving efficiency within the tax department. Role Specific Requirements Skills & Experience Strong knowledge of U.S. federal, state, and local tax regulations and compliance requirements. Proficiency in tax software (e.g., Thomson Reuters, CCH, or similar platforms) and Microsoft Excel. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate complex tax issues to non-tax professionals. Person specification Ability to meet deadlines and cope with pressure. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with both internal teams and external clients.
