Job Description

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Salary range: Rs 200000 - Rs 500000 (ie INR 2-5 LPA)

Min Experience: 3 yearsJobType: full-timeThe US Tax Accountant will support end-to-end US taxation and accounting activities, ensuring accurate compliance with US GAAP and federal/state tax regulations. The role involves hands-on tax preparation, accounting support, and coordination with internal teams to deliver timely and compliant outcomes.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

US Taxation

Assist in the preparation and review of US tax returns, including Individual (Form 1040), Corporate (Form 1120), and Partnership (Form 1065).
Conduct tax research and support compliance with IRS and state tax regulations.
Assist with tax filings, notices, and audit support.
Support tax planning activities under guidance.

US Accounting

Perform bookkeeping and monthly close activities.
Prepare financial statements, bank reconciliations, and general ledger reviews.
Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash flow management.
Ensure adherence to US GAAP standards.

Tools & Systems

Work with accounting platforms such as QuickBooks and Xero.
Maintain accurate financial and tax documentation.
