US Staffing Head

Job Summary:

Associate Director / Head of US Staffing

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Delivery Oversight:

• Lead and manage day-to-day staffing operations for VMS, State, and Federal clients across various verticals (IT, Healthcare, Engineering, etc.).
• Oversee and drive full-cycle recruitment delivery ensuring client SLAs, quality, and turnaround time (TAT) are met or exceeded.
• Implement delivery frameworks and best practices to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability.

Client & Account Management:

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with VMS/MSP coordinators, government agencies, and prime vendors.
• Serve as escalation point for critical client issues and ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Drive compliance with government procurement policies and contract-specific guidelines.

Team & People Management:

• Directly manage and mentor

  Account Managers, Team Leads, and Recruiters

  to meet hiring targets and service delivery goals.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, training, and upskilling initiatives to elevate team capabilities.
• Collaborate with HR and leadership on workforce planning, internal hiring, and succession planning.

Process Improvement & Reporting:

• Analyze delivery metrics and team performance reports to identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Leverage recruitment tools, ATS (e.g., CEIPAL, Bullhorn, JobDiva), and automation platforms for optimal team productivity.
• Maintain compliance with federal and state labor laws, EEO guidelines, and contractual obligations.

Business Growth & Opportunity Mapping:

• Identify expansion opportunities within existing contracts or new state/federal RFPs and bids.
• Partner with Sales/BD teams to strategize on client penetration and contract growth.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree required; MBA or PMP/SHRM certification is a plus.

• 15+ years

  of US staffing experience, with

  5+ years

  in a leadership or delivery head role.
• Strong hands-on experience with

  VMS platforms

  (Fieldglass, Beeline, IQNavigator, etc.) and

  State/Federal client delivery

  .
• Proven experience managing teams of

  Recruiters, Account Managers, and Team Leads

  in a high-volume, SLA-driven environment.
• In-depth knowledge of US hiring models, including W2, C2C, 1099, and visa categories (H1B, GC, TN, etc.).
• Strong understanding of State and Federal staffing procurement processes, contracts (e.g., SOW, T&M), and compliance frameworks.
