US Payroll Specialist

Role & responsibilities

• Manage

  end-to-end commissions processing

  for all sales and operational roles.
• Pull data from

  CRMs (Insightly, Ascent, or others)

  to calculate eligible payouts.

• Apply complex commission matrices

  and tiered structures for different roles (SP1s, Leads, Regionals, VPs, Dealers, etc.).

• Validate all deals

  and ensure status accuracy before payout (Closed Installed Funded).

• Perform cross-checks between CRM, payroll,

  and accounting data for precision.
• Generate commission reports and dashboards for management review.
• Handle commission adjustments, clawbacks, and escalations professionally.
• Maintain clear documentation and audit trails for all payouts.
• Work with accounting to reconcile payouts and ensure timely disbursement.
• Collaborate with HR and Payroll teams to implement commission structures and policy updates.
• Continuously improve and automate commission calculation templates and workflows.

Preferred candidate profile

• 5+ years

  of experience in

  commissions, payroll analytics,

  or finance operations.
• Strong understanding of sales compensation plans and performance tracking.
• Expert in

  Google Sheets / Excel (nested formulas, lookups, pivot tables, array formulas).

• Familiar with

  CRM systems (Insightly, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).

• Experience reconciling data between systems (CRM Payroll Accounting).
• High attention to detail and commitment to 100% accuracy.
• Excellent English communication skills for clear cross-team correspondence.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and handle confidential financial data responsibly.
