Job Description

US Federal & State Taxation Specialist

Responsibilities:

Prepare and file
U.S. Federal tax returns
: Individual (1040), Corporate (1120), Partnership (1065).
File
U.S. State tax returns
(corporate, partnership, individual) across multiple states.
Handle
franchise, excise, sales/use, and payroll tax filings
at the state level.
Manage
multi-state compliance
including nexus, apportionment, and allocation rules.
Stay updated with
IRS and state tax law changes
and ensure timely compliance.
Work with U.S. tax preparation software (
Drake, ProSeries, Lacerte, UltraTax
).

Preferred candidate profile

37 years
of direct experience in U.S. tax return filing (federal + state).
Strong knowledge of
multi-state corporate and individual tax compliance
.
Experience with
nexus determination, apportionment, and state-level obligations
.
Proficiency in U.S. tax software (Drake, ProSeries, Lacerte, UltraTax).
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with U.S. teams.
