Job Title: SDET

Location: Hyderabad (Hybrid)

Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress.io for web application testing.
• Implement Behavior Driven Development (BDD) practices using Cucumber.js to create clear and maintainable test scenarios.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and translate them into testable automation scripts.
• Identify and automate test cases covering various functionalities of our Fintech applications.
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous feedback.
• Analyze test results, identify potential defects, and report bugs effectively.
• Work closely with developers to resolve identified issues and ensure timely fixes.
• Stay up to date with the latest automation testing tools, frameworks, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in automation testing, with a strong track record of building and maintaining automated test suites. (Emphasize minimum experience)
• Mandatory Skills: Cypress.io, Cucumber.js (BDD), JavaScript, TypeScript.
• Highly Preferred: Experience working in the Fintech domain (banking, payments, etc.).
• Plus Points: Understanding of API testing methodologies and tools.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
