Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced UEBA Specialist to strengthen our security operations by detecting advanced threats, insider risks, and anomalous behavior using User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA). The role involves threat detection, model tuning, threat hunting, and close collaboration with SOC and SOAR teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain baseline behavioral profiles for users, hosts, IPs, and applications.
• Detect anomalies such as lateral movement, beaconing, data exfiltration, and unauthorized access (VPN/RDP misuse, illegal website access, etc.).
• Prioritize threats based on asset sensitivity and potential blast radius.
• Develop and tune detection models aligned with MITRE ATT&CK to identify:
• Insider threats and compromised accounts
• Zero-day attacks and Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs)
• Emerging global threat patterns
• Enrich security incidents with UEBA context to accelerate triage and investigation.
• Enable and support proactive threat hunting using UEBA signals.
• Collaborate with SOAR teams to automate response workflows.
• Produce daily threat hunting reports with actionable insights.
• Continuously tune detection logic to reduce false positives and improve accuracy.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Cyber Security / SOC / UEBA
• Strong hands-on experience with UEBA solutions
• Good understanding of MITRE ATT&CK framework
• Experience in threat hunting, anomaly detection, and incident analysis
• Ability to analyze logs, user behavior, and traffic patterns
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Experience working in fast-paced enterprise SOC environments

Tools & Technologies

• Microsoft UEBA / Microsoft Security tools (Sentinel, Defender – preferred)
• SOAR integrations and automation workflows
