Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced VMware & Nutanix Hyperconverged Infrastructure Support Engineer to manage and support enterprise converged and hyperconverged infrastructure platforms. The role involves L3-level support, infrastructure planning, performance optimization, and close coordination with OEMs and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support for converged and hyperconverged infrastructure, including provisioning, new deployments, planning, and capacity expansion.
• Ensure maximum uptime and performance of SAN infrastructure and converged platforms.
• Handle L3 escalations from L2 teams and client escalations to ensure timely resolution.
• Analyze monitoring data from Storage, RecoverPoint, UCS, and vCenter to recommend improvements in performance, security, and utilization.
• Plan and recommend infrastructure modifications or additional equipment to meet capacity and performance needs.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting to maintain high availability and system performance.
• Coordinate with OEM vendors for hardware replacement, advanced troubleshooting, and code/firmware upgrades.
• Manage day-to-day operations, including BMC ticket handling and SLA-based closures.
• Work closely with multiple technical teams and stakeholders to resolve complex infrastructure issues.
• Plan and implement infrastructure changes and raise RFCs as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in VMware and Hyperconverged Infrastructure support
• Strong hands-on experience with VMware ESXi and vCenter
• Experience with Nutanix AHV
• Knowledge of virtual machine networking
• Hands-on exposure to Blade Servers and Fibre Interconnects
• Strong troubleshooting skills and operational expertise
• Experience handling L3 escalations in enterprise environments
