UAV Integration Engineer

📍 Location: R&I Park, IIT-Delhi

About the Role

We are hiring a UAV Integration Engineer to build, test, fly, and debug drones. The role involves working closely with the engineering team, identifying issues, implementing fixes, and supporting users in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and integrate UAV platforms (controllers, sensors, propulsion, payloads)
• Configure and test flight firmwares (ArduPilot, PX4, INAV)
• Conduct flight tests and analyze logs for performance tuning
• Troubleshoot hardware, firmware, and communication issues
• Collaborate with engineers and prepare test reports
• Provide technical support and training to end-users

Requirements

• Solid understanding of UAV systems and electronics
• Hands-on experience with UAV firmwares and GCS tools (Mission Planner, QGC, MAVProxy)
• Flight-testing and piloting experience
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills

Good to Have

• MAVLink protocol knowledge
• Experience with RF systems, simulations (SITL/HITL), or scripting (Python/C++)
• Previous user/customer support experience
