Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Kochi for a TYPO 3 Developer. The developer will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing TYPO3-based websites. Day-to-day tasks include developing custom TYPO3 extensions, implementing website designs, coding, debugging, and collaborating with the project team to meet client requirements. The developer will also perform quality assurance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure websites are secure and up to date.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain TYPO3-based websites and web applications
• Build custom TYPO3 extensions using Extbase/Fluid framework
• Implement responsive templates, themes, and layouts
• Configure and customize TYPO3 backend functionality
• Perform TYPO3 version upgrades, migrations, and patches
• Optimize TYPO3 installations for performance, scalability, and security

Required Skills

• Strong experience with TYPO3 (versions 9+ preferred)
• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Hands-on experience with TypoScript, Fluid templates, and Extbase
• Familiarity with responsive design frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind, etc.)
• Good understanding of version control (Git) and deployment workflows
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and website optimization

Good to Have

• Experience with other CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal, etc.)
• Exposure to Composer-based TYPO3 installations
• Basic knowledge of server management (Linux, Apache/Nginx)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools

Experience

At least 4–5 years of proven, hands-on experience working with TYPO3
