Cross-reference government travel advisories (e.g., US State Department, FCDO). Coordinate with intelligence analysts to assess current threats. Itinerary Management Maintain up-to-date travel itineraries for all personnel. Ensure travelers are registered and approved per company protocols. Confirm travel plans align with risk mitigation policies. Real-Time Traveler Tracking Use GPS tracking tools, travel management platforms (e.g., International SOS, Concur), or check-in protocols to monitor movement. Maintain contact with travelers in real-time or at scheduled intervals. Provide 24/7 support and updates during travel. Threat Monitoring and Alerts Continuously monitor global and local events (e.g., civil unrest, natural disasters, terrorism). Issue alerts and advisories to travelers and relevant stakeholders. Escalate situations based on severity and location. Emergency Response Coordination Activate crisis response protocols if a traveler is in distress. Coordinate with internal crisis teams, external security providers, and local authorities. Facilitate evacuations or medical support if needed. Policy Compliance and Reporting Ensure travelers adhere to company travel security policies. Maintain logs of all communications, alerts, and responses. Generate reports on travel incidents, compliance rates, and lessons learned. Traveler Awareness and Briefing Provide pre-travel security briefings.
