Role Overview: As an Inbound Business Development Manager in the travel industry, your primary responsibility will be to drive the expansion of our inbound travel business. You will play a crucial role in identifying and fostering new international partnerships, crafting destination-specific travel packages, and increasing revenue through strategic sales initiatives. Your background in B2B sales within the travel sector, coupled with exceptional relationship-building skills and a profound understanding of inbound tourism trends, will be instrumental in achieving success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and cultivate new business opportunities with international travel agents, tour operators, and B2B partners. - Promote inbound travel services and experiences to targeted markets. - Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with global travel trade partners. - Develop and present customized travel packages tailored to market demands and company capabilities. - Represent the company at international travel fairs, trade shows, and networking events to showcase inbound services. - Collaborate closely with operations and product teams to ensure the quality and deliverability of travel experiences. - Stay abreast of competitor activities, market trends, and customer feedback to refine offerings and sales strategies. - Prepare comprehensive business development reports, sales forecasts, and performance analyses. - Lead contract negotiations and finalize partnership agreements with B2B clients and DMCs. - Provide support for digital marketing and promotional campaigns targeting foreign markets. Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Tourism, Marketing, or a related field. - Possess 7+ years of proven experience in B2B travel sales or inbound business development. - Strong network of global travel agents or tour operators is advantageous. - Thorough understanding of inbound travel operations and destination management. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities. - Exhibit a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a keen interest in travel and customer experience. - Familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics tools. - Willingness to engage in international travel for business development activities. - Multilingual capabilities are considered a valuable asset.
