Role Overview:

Inbound Travel Expert

Key Responsibilities:

Itinerary Design & Conversions

  • Develop and convert inbound travel enquiries into confirmed bookings by creating customized, experience-driven itineraries for FITs and Groups.
  • Proactively engage with clients (B2B/B2C) to understand preferences and upsell value-added services.

Costing, Quotation & Profitability

  • Prepare competitive and accurate costings while ensuring profitability and alignment with client budgets.
  • Negotiate with vendors and partners to secure the best rates and enhance package value.

Client Relationship & Account Management

  • Maintain professional communication with clients, delivering exceptional pre- and post-sales support.
  • Nurture long-term relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.

Reservations & Operations Management

  • Handle complete reservation processes including hotels, transport, sightseeing, and special experiences.
  • Coordinate with internal operations, vendors, and DMCs to ensure smooth execution of itineraries, addressing modifications and last-minute changes.

Destination & Product Expertise

  • Provide expert guidance on routes, destinations, accommodations, and cultural experiences within the Indian Subcontinent.
  • Stay updated on travel trends, products, and competitor offerings to strengthen sales pitches.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in

    Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business Management, or related field

    (preferred).
  • 5 to 10 years of experience

    in travel sales, reservations, or operations (inbound preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of

    Indian Subcontinent destinations, products, and experiences

    .

  • Excellent

    communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills

    .
  • Ability to manage

    multiple bookings and deadlines simultaneously

    with attention to detail.

  • Flexible, problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle last-minute changes.
