Job Description

Overview

As a travel desk , you will be required to maintain strict confidentiality about travel plans within and outside the organization. Additionally, company rules about travel need to be followed. You will regularly be in touch with management to manage all documentation and formalities pre and post-travel.

Responsibilities

  • Create detailed travel itineraries based on requirements expertise in booking all travel arrangements for business travellers in the domestic and international
  • Book transportation, accommodations, and other travel services including Visa, Sim cards
  • Provide clients with relevant travel information, including destination details, travel advisories, and itinerary changes.
  • Ensure all travel arrangements comply with company policies and client requirements.
  • Handle client inquiries and resolve any travel-related issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with travel agencies, airlines, and hotels to obtain the best rates and services.
  • Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and client communications.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, travel destinations, and regulations.
  • Maintain and swiftly resolve employee feedback of hotels and travel facilities as needed.
  • Maintain the monthly travel expense sheet.
  • Addition- Supporting in facility activity as and when needed

Skills

  • At least 2+ years of experience in a travel-management role.
  • Strong customer service skills and a passion for travel, Knowledge on bulk bookings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in travel booking softwares, international and domestic.
  • Itinerary planning - Handle visa applications and formalities promptly. Handle all incoming travel requests and the processes post and pre travel.
  • Negotiations - Negotiate on best rates through vendors every time there is a travel occurrence.
  • Communication - Communicate with the person travelling regularly to keep them updated on logistics
  • Time management - Manage emergency changes/cancellations in a professional and calm manner.
